Hey there friends.

This will be the first of many fun activity ideas for kids.  Having fun ideas to play with your kids is what WeHangHere is all about.  I want every involved parent to have a never ending list of things to do with their little ones.

This first installment of ideas is a simple one but one that I know each and everyone of you out their can manage…..its Finger Painting!

The reason I chose this one first and foremost is that it is simple, costs very little, can be done with children of just about any age – even teenagers…maybe and works for any season since it can be done indoors.

First you’ll need to pick up some finger paint from your local crafts store or online.  Amazon has some selections you can check out .

So once you have your finger paints, get a much of old newspaper or cardboard and cover the entire dinning room table.

Now get some simple blank white sheets of paper to work with.

Once you are all setup and have all the supplies you need, you need to come up with a fun concept for everyone to work on.

I like to tell my kids to paint their favorite zoo animal.  Or to paint their favorite place on earth.

Now make certain to join in the fun.  It doesn’t matter if you are a natural artist or more of a stick figure type of artist (thats me!).  This is all about having a creative and enjoyable time with your little ones.

You can even promise some fun prizes for the “most colorful” paintings or the “most creative ones”.  Now I recommend that you make certain that everyone involved win at least one prize since again, this is all about FUN.

Once your finished with all your finger painting you can put up all the amazing kid art up on your fridge.  Its a perfect location for all those gems.

I usually take pictures of all these gems over the years and keep them for the future.  I think that some day I will look back and want to remember these FUN times with my kids.
